Shift Lead - Garrett Popcorn Shops - $19/hour
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the management of staff of approximately 5 to 30 team members
• Assign tasks to Team Members
• Supervise staff to ensure tasks are completed on time and to brand standards
• Execute all opening and closing procedures
• Deescalate any customer or Team Member concerns, keeping Shop Manager in the loop
• Evaluate Team Member performance and provide training as necessary
• Conducting pre-shift meetings and Shop meetings on consistent basis
Exceptional Customer Experience
• Assists in creating a customer experience that delights and engages every customer and exceeds customer expectations
• Help to ensure customer experience is aligned with brand values and personality
• Make decisions from the perspective of the optimal customer experience
Strong Team Development and Support
• Engage staff to ensure they are motivated and building strong customer relationships
• Conduct real time coaching to continuously develop team members to reach their best
• Consistently demonstrate appreciation and encouragement, leads by example
Operational Excellence
• Ensure team members comply with company standards for time and attendance, product integrity, respectful of the workplace, and health and safety.
• Ensure proper execution of all cooking procedures by Cooks
• Manage the daily production levels and rotation to ensure guests are always receiving the freshest Garrett Popcorn possible.
• During each shift, ensure Shop is visually beautiful, clean and well organized.
• Approach challenges with a ‘make it happen’ mindset and reach out for support when necessary.
Requirements
• 1 - 3 years of retail management experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Natural leadership abilities
• Ability to problem solve and multitask
• Knowledge of health and food safety regulations
• A commitment to excellent customer service and engagement
• Available for weekend, evening, and holiday hours
• Physical requirements include the following:
o Must be able to exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight hours in length
o Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
o Must have the stamina to work a minimum of 50+hours a week
